This course is designed exclusively for licensed hairstylists, barbers, and educators who want to strengthen their understanding of haircutting principles. Whether you've been behind the chair for two years or twenty, the goal is to build a stronger foundation that improves every haircut you create.

While the principles are foundational, the conversations, demonstrations, and coaching are designed for working professionals. Rather than teaching you to memorize haircuts, we'll focus on understanding the decisions behind them so you can apply them with greater confidence and intention behind the chair.

Over two days, we'll explore the principles behind Convex Layering, Concave Layering, and Graduation through classroom theory, live demonstrations, and guided hands-on workshops.

You won’t leave with three haircut techniques—you'll leave with a deeper understanding of why they work and how those principles can be applied to every haircut that follows.

We'll provide your mannequin heads, printed workbook, and classroom learning materials.

You'll simply need to bring your everyday cutting tools, including your scissors, combs, clips, spray bottle, and any other tools you regularly use behind the chair.

A complete tool list will be emailed after registration.

Upon successful completion of the course, you'll receive an official Iron Lotus Education Certificate of Completion along with 12 CEU hours.

Payment Options

You may choose to pay your tuition in full at the time of registration or select the available payment plan during checkout.

Payment Plan Policy

Selecting the payment plan reserves one of only 15 available seats in the Iron Lotus Foundational Course.

Because your seat is held exclusively for you, all payments made toward the payment plan are non-refundable.

Your remaining balance must be paid in full before attending the workshop. Failure to complete the payment plan by the final due date will result in forfeiture of your workshop registration.

If unforeseen circumstances arise, please contact us as soon as possible. While payments are non-refundable, we'll do our best to discuss available options.

Theory Course Access

Complimentary access to the Iron Lotus Theory Course is included with your workshop registration.

Access will be provided once your workshop tuition has been paid in full. If you choose the payment plan, you'll receive access after your final payment has been completed.

The Theory Course is designed to prepare you before the workshop, allowing our time together to focus on discussion, application, and coaching.
